CEO
Curt Anderson
Curt Anderson is more than just our fearless leader; he is the guiding force that has transformed MBM over the years. Having acquired MBM from its esteemed founder, Brian Sachs, in 1990, Curt and his partners have elevated the company's reach from primarily serving Massachusetts to catering to clients across the U.S. mainland, Hawaii, and even Bermuda.
Before this significant expansion, Curt's entrepreneurial spirit was already evident. He founded Sonitrol in Cambridge and, over two decades, grew it from its inception to a robust team of 44, serving 4,000 clients throughout Massachusetts.
Curt's leadership abilities aren't just innate; they've been honed over the years. As a Dartmouth graduate, he served with distinction as a Lieutenant j.g. in the U.S. Navy aboard the Battleship New Jersey during the Vietnam era. Post his naval service, he acquired his MBA from the University of Connecticut, further solidifying his expertise in business and leadership.
Beyond business, Curt's commitment to community and personal growth stands out. He has dedicated his time to several non-profit boards, from the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce to the Boston Minstrel Company. Notably, as a passionate tennis player, Curt has secured several rankings in New England, recently being recognized as #4 among men over 60.
His multifaceted interests also see him as the bass player for the Boston Minstrel Company, a group that has consistently brought joy through music to Massachusetts homeless shelters for the past 25 years.
